CAPE TOWN!

Monday, March 27, 2006

hello hello hello

i do apologise that i have been so vacant. have been in cape town for ten days which was grand!
did some touristy things, like signal hill (watched the other tourists gawking and bought super ice cream), calk bay (good pizzas and great views) camps bay (had lunch at nandos then walked on the beach and watched dodgy speedo wearing middle aged man doing push-ups, then went and ate ice cream at joyous place called sinfull), la med (had gin and tonics while looking at the mountain on my left and the sea on my right)...also two 21sts which were fantabulistic! so all in all a proper tourist experience, as im sure you can also tell every experience included a fair amount of eating, so you will find jen a little tubbier than when you saw her last ;)

also had the good fortune to bump into dirty dave (yes, that one from smuts) that was super :)
and also chunda who seemed very into a girl on the dance floot...very!

first 21st was laura hammonds-really awesome, she had a party bus tyo tale everyone to the venue, definatley a very cool idea but not particularly useful as in gtown it would probably only have to tavel two or threee streets. theme: casino-red and black.

second 21st was jus', also grand, theme: cant believe you wore that to my 21st. i looked horrible, like a strwberry milkshake had exploded all over me. food also super, had crocodile and kudu!
also decided to go mad and extend the theme to the present, so bought her a pair of antique/second hand false teeth :)

will try and put some photos on but i make no promises.

how goes varsity all rhodents???
will try very hard from now onwards to write more frequently, but only if i have something newsworthy!

im in kenton on wed, yay and then probably coming thru to gtown next wed, but if anyone is able to pop down to kenton friendly faces, decent food and cold beers on the beach await you ;)

see you soon, cant wait
