day at the beach

Tuesday, May 02, 2006

ok forgot to tell you guys about this. so robs shekter calls me on monday morning (public hol here also) and says they have decided to go to the beach-do i wanna go. now i know its supposed to be coming up to summer, but this place is still crazy cold, but i thought what the hell..... guys it was so windy and pretty damn cold too in spite of the tiny patches of blue sky you see in the photo.

anyway the most interesting part of the day was when robs boyfriend will (as seen in the photo) pulls out an 'instant grill'. maybe its just me, but i have never heard of anything so crazy. apparently its the british way to 'barbeque'. in addition to this, they used it to heat pre-cooked viennas. needless to say i laughed my ass off!

bye guys:)

I would just like to defend the English and say that this is NOT the conventional way of BBQing in England, nor is it the usual meat cooked on the aforementioned BBQ. There, I've said my piece...

PS notice the use of the plastic fork for extra cheapness

It's so wierd that Ange tells us so much about Phil, and now you have met him... six degrees of seperation huh? Dave Matthews huh? Apparently they are one of the most expensive acts to go and watch live... so enjoy it. And like Mr G said you've put photos on so we expect many more ok... be well, love Jase

Hi angel, going to Brighton reminds me of my one and only rag day some 32 years ago when we CYCLED from Tunbridge Wells to Brighton stopping off at all the pubs on the way - but it was a lovely hot day. Hang in there and the weather will improve and you will love the summer as long as you don't have to work too hard. Don't take any nonsense from those journ students about spelling their names incorrectly - most of their grammar is diabolical!! Don't groan but they should read Gregor's "Eats Shoots and Leaves" before you stop being rhodents! Well done on the photos - I am REALLY proud of you!! Missing you babe xxxx
